Some immediate thoughts — a diabetic-friendly diet would mean stable energy release throughout the day (no intermittent fasting, regular meals 3x a day would probably be appropriate). Healthy complex carbs, so replace white rice with brown rice or rice with mixed grains. Increase portion of fiber-rich vegetable side dishes, and maybe halve the portion of your protein choice if it’s in a sweet sauce. Choosing good sources of fat (choosing your protein dish to be a fatty fish like salmon would probably be appropriate) to increase satiety and reduce sweet cravings later in the day.

This is not meant to be medical advice, and best course of action would be to find a qualified dietician or nutritionist to advise you! These are just some general guidelines 😊 If you have further questions or want some vegetable recipe ideas, I would love to hear from you so feel free to email me at kokumura@kakikata.space!
