Definitely! For such an ‘advanced’ society there are so many mundane things that are slow to change 😅 But there can be positives to these things.

On your note on people helping each other out, I think of a general level there is a high level of trust between strangers (lack of petty crime, stealing is surprisingly rare, etc.) especially the smaller the city. Public safety is one of those underrated joys that I take for granted when I live there haha.
